Every hat begins by hand.

Hello, I am Shona, the maker behind each piece, crafting bespoke hats from premium fur felt in regional New South Wales. From the first block, to the final stitch, every detail is shaped with intention, using traditional techniques and carefully selected materials to create hats that are as individual as the people who wear them.

I am the daughter of an amazing dressmaker, who from a young age instilled in me the appreciation of fine materials, craftsmanship and the value of true design. My mum also gave me some of the skills I use in my workshop today, when she passed down her millinery skills at the beginning of my hat making journey.

I still use some of the blocks she used in her own making years ago.
